Your Homestead Gardener Shipping Policy

At Homestead Gardener Inc., we strive to provide a smooth and efficient shipping experience for our customers. Please review our shipping policy below to understand how we handle shipping, processing times, and more.
1. Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after receiving your order confirmation and payment. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, or public holidays.
- During peak seasons or sales events, processing times may be extended. We will do our best to communicate any delays to our customers.
2. Shipping Options and Delivery Times
- Standard Shipping: Orders shipped via standard shipping typically take 5-7 business days to arrive after processing. Please note that delivery times may vary based on your location.
- Expedited Shipping: For faster delivery, we offer expedited shipping options. These orders usually arrive within 2-4 business days after processing. Tracking information will be provided for all expedited shipments.
- Local Pickup: We offer a convenient local pickup option for customers in the area. Orders can be picked up from our home-based shop. Business hours for pickup are Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Payment for local pickup orders can be made via cash or E-transfer to contact@homesteadgardener.ca.
3. Shipping Rates
- Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of your order, as well as the shipping destination. The applicable shipping costs will be displayed at checkout.
- We offer free standard shipping on orders over $100
4. Order Tracking
- For expedited shipping orders, tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been shipped. Free and standard shipping orders typically do not come with tracking unless specified.

5. Shipping Destinations
- At this time, we currently ship to addresses in Canada only. Please note that shipping to remote or rural locations may require additional time.
- At this time, we do not offer international shipping outside of Canada.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
- Homestead Gardener is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been confirmed as delivered to the address provided. Please ensure the shipping address is accurate and secure.
Items Damaged During Shipping: If your order arrives damaged, Homestead Gardener will replace the affected items at no additional cost, provided that an insurance claim can be filed with the shipping carrier. To initiate a replacement, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order, providing photos of the damaged items and packaging. We will guide you through the process and arrange for a replacement once the claim is approved (which can typically take between 60 to 90 days).
Items Damaged After Receipt: Once your order is received in good condition, Homestead Gardener is not responsible for any subsequent damage to the products. We do not offer replacements or refunds for items that break or are damaged after delivery, with no exceptions to this policy.
7. Changes to Shipping Information
- If you need to make changes to your shipping address or any other shipping information, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. Once an order has been processed and shipped, we may not be able to make changes.
